The last few weeks have confirmed just how unfit Rep. Scott Perry is to represent the constituents of Pennsylvania's 10th district.
On Feb. 27, Perry voted along with the rest of the Pennsylvania GOP delegation against H.R. 1319, the American Rescue Plan Act, which would have provided PA-10 residents with $1,400 in COVID relief money.
Just this week, on March 3, Perry again voted against the interests of his constituents when he opposed H.R. 1, the For the People Act of 2021, which would expand access to the ballot box and reduce voter suppression.
These actions were in addition to his efforts last Fall to spread lies about voter fraud, organize "stop the steal" rallies, and his vote to object to certifying the electoral votes already certified by state electors, including those very ballots that led to his reelection.
On Jan. 23, The New York Times further reported that Rep. Perry had played a key role in Trump's efforts to oust Acting Attorney General Rosen to replace him with someone sympathetic to his baseless claims of voter fraud, a claim that is currently being investigated by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office.
Scott Perry must resign or face expulsion from the House.
